We are delighted to announce that our colleague, Bría Corr has successfully graduated in Spatial Planning & Environmental Management from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin). This is a proud moment not only for Bría, but for the entire Corr family — and for CWPA itself.
Bría follows in the footsteps of her sister, Róisín Corr, and their father, Joe Corr, our Managing Director of Planning at CWPA. Together, they now represent three fully-qualified planners in the Corr family. What makes this even more remarkable is that all three were taught by the same lecturer, David O’Connor, Head of Environment & Planning at TU Dublin. This continuity of teaching, professional interest and ambition in the field of planning makes for an inspiring story of dedication, mentorship and generational commitment.
At CWPA, we’re committed to supporting the future of planning. We know that good planning and environmental management depend on skilled, dedicated people who understand both the practical and human sides of the profession. Through our work and student mentorship programmes, we help to guide and encourage the next generation of planners.
Bría’s journey is a perfect example of what that looks like in practice:
- A young professional deciding to specialise in Spatial Planning & Environmental Management — a field critical for sustainable growth and environmental stewardship.
- Studying under a respected academic like David O’Connor, whose role at TU Dublin bridges theory and real-world application.
- Joining a family tradition of planning, aligned with CWPA’s mission to lead in the planning profession.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Bría. We also recognise Róisín, who has already established herself, and their father whose leadership at CWPA continues to shape our contribution to the profession. Their story highlights the power of mentorship, of education, and of leadership rooted in community and environment.
