CWPA Planning & Architecture is pleased to announce its participation in the Royal Institute of the Architects in Ireland (RIAI) Simon Open Door Initiative, scheduled to take place from April 8th to 15th, 2024.
The annual project is a collaboration between the Simon Communities and the RIAI, offering homeowners the opportunity to engage in hour-long consultations with RIAI Registered Architects to explore building, renovating, or retrofitting their homes, in exchange for a donation of €120. All proceeds from these consultations goes directly to the Simon Communities.
“We are honoured to once again be part of the RIAI’s Simon Open Door initiative,” remarked Fran Whelan, Managing Director Architecture at CWPA. “Contributing creativity, fresh perspectives, and expertise to our clients’ projects while supporting a worthy cause is immensely gratifying.”
Participants are encouraged to review the ‘How to make the most out of your one-hour session’ guide available on the RIAI website: How it Works – RIAI Simon Open Door details here: RIAI Simon Open Door
Headquartered in Swords, Co. Dublin, CWPA Planning & Architecture was established during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown by Joe Corr, Planning Consultant, and Fran Whelan, Architect. The firm, comprised of over twenty highly skilled professionals in architectural, urban planning, interior, and exterior design, managed a diverse portfolio of projects across Ireland valued at over €650 million in 2022.
The RIAI Simon Open Door consultations offer valuable insights to homeowners without any obligation to proceed with a project following the session.
